meet Hannah

I picked up my first camera when I was 17 (funny enough, Maranda was my first model!) and haven’t put it down since. I’ve always been drawn to visual story-telling - whether that be through photo or video and so it was natural for me to find myself in the wedding photography space. 

I’ve been a wedding photographer and videographer for going on 8 years now and I am so passionate about capturing these special days. But apart from taking the pictures, I value the connections I make with my clients and it makes this career so much more impactful. Some would say I’m a tad bit dramatic and I love a good sentimental moment and memorializing those memories with my camera is indescribable. 

Don’t get me wrong - as much as I feel my feels, I also love to have fun and have learned to not take life too seriously. You’ll often find me on my IG stories dancing to some classic early 2000 hits or trying my hand at stand-up comedy when I know the only person I can really make laugh is myself (and maybe my granny). I also work as a HR Coordinator for a non-profit during the week!

meet Maranda

My name is Maranda. I’m 30 years old and I’m from a small town in North Carolina. I now live in the southern part of Virginia with my fiance and our two children. We are planning our wedding for the fall of 2024 ourselves!

What started out as a hobby doing photography has now turned into a profitable business, which is the craziest thing to think about. I never thought 10 years ago when I was taking photos of blades of grass that people would be paying me to capture some of their most important days. How lucky am I! I have now photographed over 30 weddings and my experience is more vast than ever before. 

When I'm not photographing, I also work part time as a dental hygienist. If i’m not going out in public, you can find me dressed like Adam Sandler attempting to mother two crazy kids not looking at all like this photo you see here LOL. I find enjoyment in a good reality tv drama series and a nice iced coffee from a local coffee shop. I love all things skincare related and I kind of consider myself a foodie because finding good restaurants is a game I love to play. And if you’re asking if I want lunch, my order is an 8 count nugget meal from Chic-fil-A with a sweet tea/lemonade ;)
